Un chevalier errant, arm\u00e9 de pied en cap ainsi qu\u2019un Amadis arrive dans les lieux. Le brave h\u00e9ros, sans craindre le danger\u00a0 de ce p\u00e9rilleux et fier animal se propose \u00e0 venger la population du village et de se d\u00e9barrasser de lui \u00e0 la\u00a0 condition, pour prix de sa vaillance, une femme deviendra sa r\u00e9compense . Il demande \u00e0 \u00e9pouser la femme la plus riche du lieu, par int\u00e9r\u00eat personnel, et non pas\u00a0 la cit\u00e9 qui propose cette m\u00eame r\u00e9compense, au nom de l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat collectif. Le h\u00e9ros triomphant obtient sa r\u00e9compense et \u00e9pouse la femme la plus belle de la cit\u00e9.\u00a0 Le r\u00e9cit est trop funeste.<\/p>\n<p>La pi\u00e8ce aborde la situation des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s arabes apr\u00e8s la d\u00e9faite de juin 1967. L\u2019Histoire \u00e9claire, en quelque sorte, le pr\u00e9sent. De nombreux dramaturges arabes, par crainte de la censure, recourent \u00e0 des faits historiques pour \u00e9voquer le pr\u00e9sent ,souvent, d\u00e9cevant.
