Elle d\u00e9crit deux mondes aux antipodes l&rsquo;un de l&rsquo;autre, le monde des riches (ventres pleins) avec toutes ses contradictions\u00a0 et le monde des pauvres (ventres creux) avec toute la r\u00e9volte qui habite ses protagonistes, ainsi que la mis\u00e8re qui les terrasse et la pr\u00e9carit\u00e9 qui les ravage.<\/p>\n<p>La pi\u00e8ce parle d&rsquo;une riche famille texane qui vit dans le d\u00e9lire et la parano\u00efa. Robert est un homme vivant dans les hallucinations. Quant \u00e0 son \u00e9pouse, elle n&rsquo;a d&rsquo;yeux que pour les futilit\u00e9s. Clo\u00eetr\u00e9s dans leurs bulles, ces deux aristocrates aux panses gloutonnes, et aux faci\u00e8s d&rsquo;anges, sous le masque, grimacent la f\u00e9rocit\u00e9. Ils sont tr\u00e8s g\u00ean\u00e9s par la pr\u00e9sence des pauvres. Le sang des crimes &#8211; les leurs &#8211; autrefois perp\u00e9tr\u00e9s, suinte encore dans les m\u00e9moires.. Les massacres sont pr\u00e9dis \u00e0 venir, dans les pays du Nord, comme dans les pays du Sud, pour les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales et les injustices. Ils sont in\u00e9luctables, s\u2019ils ne sont pas d\u00e9j\u00e0 programm\u00e9s.
