Seul Darwich, s\u2019opposa \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger et le d\u00e9signa comme un intrus. Poursuivant sa conqu\u00eate, il avait acquis tous les biens de la localit\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019exception de l\u2019oliveraie d\u2019un vieux fermier qui avait refus\u00e9 de la lui\u00a0 c\u00e9der, mais\u00a0 qui vit,alors, toute sa plantation d\u2019oliviers\u00a0 ravag\u00e9e par un incendie.<\/p>\n<p>Rien ne r\u00e9sistait devant son stratag\u00e8me, m\u00eame le bar ,o\u00f9 Youcef passait ses nuits, lui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 c\u00e9d\u00e9 et son ancien propri\u00e9taire devint son serviteur. M\u00eame la jeune Fadoua paya les frais et fut viol\u00e9e pour avoir refus\u00e9 ses avances. Masra se r\u00e9volta et d\u00e9clara la guerre \u00e0 l\u2019intrus.
