En 1935, il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 le club \u00ab\u00a0El Hilal Erryadi\u00a0\u00bb \u00a0(activit\u00e9s sportives, travaux d\u2019art et productions th\u00e9\u00e2trales). Mohamed\u00a0 Mahboub, tout en militant, cr\u00e9a une troupe th\u00e9\u00e2trale appel\u00e9e \u00abRedha El Bey\u00bb. Durant cette p\u00e9riode, il a \u00e9crit de nombreux po\u00e8mes et hymnes patriotiques pour le compte des Scouts Musulmans Alg\u00e9riens, entre autres la Kassida intitul\u00e9e \u00abMin Jibalina\u00bb et une autre sous le titre \u00ab\u00c0 l\u2019appel de ma patrie, j\u2019ai r\u00e9pondu pr\u00e9sent\u00bb. Il a \u00e9galement \u00e9crit des pi\u00e8ces de th\u00e9\u00e2tre parmi lesquelles \u00abJe raconte \u00e0 toi\u00bb (Ahqui laka) \u00bb et \u00abLe fou de la plage\u00bb (Medjnoun Echat)\u00bb. Au d\u00e9clenchement de la R\u00e9volution, Mohamed\u00a0 Mahboub STAMBOULI a rejoint les rangs du Front de Lib\u00e9ration Nationale.Arr\u00eat\u00e9 en 1957, il est lib\u00e9r\u00e9 trois ann\u00e9es apr\u00e8s. Il a par la suite exerc\u00e9 \u00e0 la radio nationale o\u00f9 il a produit de nombreuses \u00e9missions sur la po\u00e9sie et la chanson. Parmi ces \u00e9missions, figurent \u00abAhlem oua Aouham\u00bb, (R\u00eaves et imaginations) \u00abDounya Echabab\u00bb (le monde des jeunes) et \u00abRached oua El Djouala\u00bb. A l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance, il \u00a0rejoint le Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National Alg\u00e9rien.Il a obtenu le premier prix de la R.T.A, en tant qu\u2019auteur des paroles de la chanson intitul\u00e9e \u00abTaj Ezzine\u00bb.
