De son vrai nom BESNASSI Mohamed, Mohamed TOURI d\u00e9buta son itin\u00e9raire artistique \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 14 ans.Il \u00e9tudia \u00e0 Constantine dans les \u00e9coles de l\u2019association des Ul\u00e9ma. \u00a0En 1933 il adh\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019Association de th\u00e9\u00e2tre et de musique de sa ville, Blida. Plus tard, il fonde la troupe th\u00e9\u00e2trale \u00ab\u00a0Hamat Asna\u00a0\u00bb qui produisit plusieurs sketches et pi\u00e8ces.Il \u00e9crivit ses premi\u00e8res pi\u00e8ces en arabe litt\u00e9raire suivies d\u2019autres en arabe dialectal telles que \u00ab\u00a0Le kilo\u00a0\u00bb. Il est auteur de pi\u00e8ces sociales telles que \u00ab\u00a0Za\u00eft Ma\u00eft et Neguez el hit\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Buhadba\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Debka et Debka\u00a0\u00bb. En 1942 il int\u00e8gre la troupe de la radio, et en 1947 la troupe du th\u00e9\u00e2tre arabe de l\u2019Op\u00e9ra.
