A commencé sa carrière artistique en rencontrant Nouria .Elle intègre en 1949 la troupe théâtrale de Mohamed TOURI . En 1958, elle rejoint la troupe artistique du Front de libération nationale (FLN). A l’Indépendance, elle intègre le Théâtre national algérien. Elle est distribuée dans plusieurs pièces notamment Abna Elkasaba, El hayat houlm, El ‘Ahd, Diwan el garagouz et El khalidoun.
